Of nails and distance

Eglise Saint Pierre
Saint Pierre church again : along its right hand side is this beautifully ornate metal piece which looks like a door but doesn't open. Because it gives onto a very narrow street that allows no distant views, I can't show you a larger view than this. I worked on macro instead, then zooming out. Will you recognise the motif I focused on?

Toujours l'église Saint Pierre, mais sur son côté droit, il y a ce panneau de métal frappé qui ressemble à une porte mais n'ouvre pas. Donnant sur une rue très étroite, ce panneau est impossible à photographier en entier, sauf à posséder un grand angle que je n'ai pas. J'ai donc choisi de travailler plutôt en macro. Reconnaitrez-vous le motif dont je suis partie ?

    bel effet! le seul gros plan nous eut intrigué comme des petits gateaux sortant des plaques de boulangers.....

    J'aime bien le métal. En musique. Je sais, je suis un peu une sauvage, j'ai des goûts bizarres. J'aime bien aussi les bijoux artisanaux en métal. Il est étrange ce panneau, je me demande à quoi il sert puisque cela ressemble à une porte mais cela n'en est pas une. Est-ce qu'historiquement, il y aurait une explication? Bon WE dans le Sud. J'espère que le temps est meilleur qu'ici. Il pleut pour l'instant. Bises
