Rue des fourbisseursWith that top photo I really felt I was onto something: the man whose silhouette was appearing against the strong sun in the pedestrian street was quite a character. Making wide gestures, he was doing all the talking while the lady there was merely listening and after a while trying to get away without appearing rude. I got frustrated because other people kept passing around, behind and in front of the man, preventing me from catching the clear distinct silhouette and shadow I wanted. I the end I concentrated on another passing lady's feet...

La photo ci-dessus n'est pas complètement celle que j'aurais aimé faire. Pourtant j'en ai tout de suite vu le potentiel avec cette silhouette d'homme mûr et son ombre longue dans la rue piétonne. Tel un Fernandel, il parlait avec faconde et force gesticulations. La jeune femme en face de lui l'écoutait poliment, donnant ensuite des signes discrets d'impatience sans réussir à s'éclipser. Moi, embusquée au coin, je m'agaçais des badauds qui déambulaient mollement dans le champ de mon sujet, devant, derrière, autour, comme par pure méchanceté. Finalement, dépitée, je me suis intéressée aux jambes d'une autre passante...
