The pipe

Plage des trois digues, Sète
Sunrise on the Mediterranean in Sete on Sunday 8th January - seen from both sides of a large concrete pipe I found on the beach, ready to be used in some sewage project I presume.

Lever de soleil sur la Méditerranée à Sète le dimanche 8 janvier - vu à travers les deux bouts d'un très gros tube en ciment que j'ai trouvé sur la plage, en préparation de travaux d'assainissement j'imagine.

    Le point de vue recherché confère à ces images beaucoup d'intérêt et invite le spectateur à découvrir. J'aime beaucoup cette qualité visuelle.

    Je préfère la première photo à la 2ème, certainement parce qu'on y voit la mer. Superbe cadrage dans une belle lumière du matin. Aujourd'hui, chez moi: pluie et froid. Une bonne excuse pour rester au chaud.

    The depth of field in your top photo is remarkable. The texture of the pipe and the color of the sea and sky. Astounding. That photo belongs in a museum.
