View from my window yesterday afternoon, rain dripping along the tree trunks - amazing how they turn green when wet! We're finally getting rain, the region needs it badly.Vue depuis ma fenêtre hier après-midi, pluie dégoulinant sur les troncs des platanes - c'est étonnant comme ils tournent au vert quand ils sont mouillés ! Il n'avait pas plu depuis des semaines, nous en avions besoin.

That is amazing Nathalie, I'm so glad that you're getting the much needed rain..I'm sitting here in Perth looking out of my window at rain also, the first in a very, very long time..so I appreciate exactly how you feel. Everything seems to sigh in relief when the rain falls.

ReplyDeleteThe area of Costa Rica we visited recently is dry and brown at this time of year. It will start to pour in a few weeks. The tourist authorities market it as Green Season. Green and wet.

Je n'avais jamais remarqué qu'ils viraient ainsi au vert; j'aime beaucoup votre vue et son arrière-plan en harmonie.

ReplyDeleteSur la première image, j'ai pensé à un rideau (non de pluie !) mais de fenêtre. Elle est superbe cette image !
Jeandler, quand on voit la taille des platanes (ce sont ceux qui ont été élagués cet hiver) je ne crois pas qu'on puisse dire qu'ils sont jeunes !

Ici à Paris il a plu aussi un petit peu hier. Bien… et nécessaire pour la verdure et pour l’agriculture, mais j’étais surpris. J’ai trouvé un parapluie coté Belleville pour 2€90 ! :-)
