1st of June Theme Day: "NO..." : I had no permission to take this photo : in the room where I took it, 'no photo' signs were everywhere. But very small and I didn't see them. True. So here's a forbidden photo of the rooftops of Avignon as seen from inside the Popes' Palace. No special effects; I'll show you tomorrow how I did it.

1er juin - Thème du jour : "NO ..."

Great photo! I wonder why they don't allow photography? Very odd.
ReplyDeleteHappy Theme Day!
Cool photo. I got "in trouble" for taking a picture of Whistler at the National Portrait Gallery once. Who knew? They let you take photos at most other galleries in D.C.! l sort of like a photograph taken on the sly!:)
ReplyDeleteGreat photographic effect, except for the big "X" in the center. It looks like a yellow piece of plastic over a larger clear and aged plastic window covering. Happy theme day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roofs and photo, glad you break the rules!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pic! Glad you got away with it :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like stained glass making that marvelous effect. And I really like your response to the theme yesterday!
ReplyDeleteClueless, I believe the big X effect goes well with the concept of "no photos". Anyway it's part of the design of the stained glass window, as you will see from the full image today.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning (forbidden or not) :)
ReplyDeleteClever, clever, clever! After seeing your explanatory post it's quite obvious, though the X is a bit obscure if not clued into the "no" theme. Nicely done indeed!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I don't think God would mind. This is brilliant Nathalie and even more appreciated after seeing the next post first!
ReplyDeleteoooh, you naughty person!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I miss Avignon and its Palais des Papes, I have been there in 2003 and I felt in love with the city!
ReplyDeleteRrgards from Portugal, Moura Aveirense
Love the symbolism and the view!
ReplyDeleteJe suis bouche bee.
