Friday skywatch

View from my window
We had a major storm on Monday night with more powerful thunder and torrential rains than we've had in years... and Tuesday morning I woke up to THAT sky! I just had to step out on my rooftop terrace to take a few pictures. A few hours later the sky was a perfect blue... and in the afternoon, heavy clouds built up again towards a new storm the following night.
In the bottom right corner is the Popes' Palace, the magnificent 14th century fortified castle that makes my day every day when I look out my window.
