Now wait a second...is this your sketch ??? If so, wow ! I'm sure I had no idea you drew too... as well as doing all the photography here...
And the sketch crawl site is full of fine sketches too ! Lots of fun with this post...
Can't help but wonder why no one ever bothered to re-build that bridge though...
Owen yes the sketch is mine.
As for bothering to re-build the bridge, Louis the Fourteenth is first to blame - he visited Avignon when the bridge was already crumbling, declared it was a beautiful city but never spared a cent for its bridge.
Pas mal du tout... !

We sang the song in primary school and I dont think I have ever really studied the real pont. Lovely sketch.
Bravo pour ton aquarelle, Nathalie!
You are very talented and I like the way you paint with a group of other people. Must be great to do.
Wonderful, Nathalie. Your talents are amazing...and I really don't know where you find the time. Have a great weekend.
You are a multi-talented artist, Nathalie. Very nice sketch.
Love your shots! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had a very rough week.

What a great day that must have been. Love also the link to further sketches.
Wow! Great!! Bravo!!!
My kids just bought me some equipment for sketching, water colours... for my birthday. Now I have to learn! (Avignon is a bit far for regular visits.)
