Enjoy, oui !

Very cool. Yes, it does remind me of some one-line drawings, especially Picasso.

Bonjour! Nathalie...
I have to agree with your comment here:"so simple yet so evocative"

However, I'am not familiar with artist Cocteau yet, with "yet" being the operative word.

On the other hand, I'am familiar with Picasso's artwork, but not his one-line drawings.
Merci, for sharing!

Picasso indeed, but he would never have written the word in English.

My wife, Julie, recently created a work of art that incorporated the Picasso line drawings of doves.

You may be interested to check out Julie's www.ScottsdaleDailyPhoto.com website today. Yesterday and today she showed a French Merci Train car sent by the people of France to each state in the USA in 1949 to thank the USA for assistance to post-war France.

I love them! They remind me of Alexander Calder's wire portraits also.

Love this. You must come down when the new Cocteau museum opens in Menton - apparently in November. Come and stay. Massive modern structure in front of the market. An American who had the biggest collection of Cocteau in the world has donated it to Menton, hence the museum. The current museum, the Bastion, will remain and of course there is Cocteau's wedding chapel.

En tous les cas merci...

Looks like a cozy, wonderful place for dinner!

Tonight, I had dinner at the "Pardon my French" cafe' here in Eagan with our 11 year old daughter - quiches et salades!
