Underwater parking

Cours Jean Jaurès, AvignonThe pedestrian entrance to the underground car park on cours Jean Jaures is surrounded by a water feature. You step down into the basin to retrieve your car. Pigeons were having their afternoon bath when I visited the other day.

Do you need a snorkel? This reminds me of an old American idiom, probably no longer in use. If you went to watch the submarine races, you and an attractive member of the opposite sex would park the car by a body of water and do, well, whatever came to mind.

Now that is different Nathalie, how fab for the local birds, love the image of the bathing pigeons.

This looks very special, walking in the water to catch a car. Very nice.

Anything that camouflages a car park is good.

Iam wondering why Jean Jaures is often the patron of car park in France.
