Long time no see

Caromb's bell tower at sunset (Caromb is a village located a few kilometres from where I live)

So I've been away - a fairly long time I must say. What have I been up to? Among much else, I took up oil painting again. I hadn't touched a brush in many years, and I'm loving it. This is one of my first works. I'm sure I'll be doing much better soon. This will remain mainly a photo blog but perhaps the occasional painting will trickle its way through.I'm pleased to be back I hope to manage posting a couple of times a week.

Gorgeous silhouette of the tower and rooftops. And a very appetising painting, you are a woman of many talents! Great to see you back on the blog.

Je disais (I said) dans mon commentaire (in my commentary) sur ta précédente publication (on your last publishing) :
"Pause n'est pas cessation..."
("Pause is not cessation...")
Nous y voici.
(Here we are.)

À ta santé !
(To your health !)
:D)

Nice to see you are active again on your blog. Looks like you are off to a good start with your painting. Maybe we will see you painting at a market or on a square someday??? Have a good week.

Bon retour, Nathalie!

We will look forward to your posts with whatever frequency your schedule allows.

Being an oil painter in the south of France would be intimidating for many. You have a lot of tough acts to follow, but they and the environment provide lots of inspiration, I am sure.

Shalom! I'm so glad you are back. You picked just the right season to restart blogging, with the mist and frost.
Looking forward to more oil paintings too.
