Lavande à Sault

Lavender field near the village of Sault last weekend, an exercise in depth of field. Most of the lavender had been harvested but a few colourful fields remained to be photographed. While the second photo gives a better idea of the village I think I like the first one best.

Exercise successfully performed. The color of the flowers is so much richer in the first one.

We leave in a week and I'm beginning to organize things. Need to send a note about where and when to find the two of you.

I agree with you. The first photo is also my preference.
