Moonlit chapel

Notre Dame d'Aubune chapel around 10:00 pm last Saturday. I've shown this chapel several times before, it's one of Beaumes-de-Venise's architectural gems.
I took this photo after a great evening of story telling given inside the chapel by Anne Deval. When you listen to her you understand why Barbarians around the Mediterranean abandoned their traditional beliefs in favour of the Gods of Olympus : in the days before TV, you could count on many a great night listening to their adventures, which are far more compelling than The Young and The Restless could ever be. Anne's feminist eye on it all is a special bonus.

The top photo is drop dead gorgeous. The second is full of powerful intensity. Terrific work. I'm still editing wedding photos.

A dark and mysterious capture on a dark and mysterious night. Story telling is a rare skill but sound like Anne Deval had you all captivated.

Such an intense blue sky! It reminds me of the depth of colour we might see in autumn here.
