ESPRIT - spirit of the season. No green leaves on the trees yet, this doesn't look like spring at all.
And this morning it snowed again in Mainz (Germany), reports fellow blogger jb who lives there.
On Good Friday? Call it totally screwed-up Friday if you ask him.
Esprit de saison : pas encore de feuilles aux arbres, on se croirait encore l'hiver.
Et ce matin il a encore neigé à Mayence en Allemagne, rapporte mon ami jb qui y vit. Un vendredi saint ? Plutôt un vendredi pourri si vous lui demandez son avis !

Spring seems to be wrestling with Winter here as well. The heater in our house has just broken, which is all very well on a nice warm day like today, but more cold weather is predicted in the near future. Come on, spring!!!
Spirit and marketing have had a difficult but lengthy relationship. I'm not religious so I just observe the ironies.

Spring is a rumor. Conjecture. Slanderous lies. As I write this today on the eleventh of April... we're due to get ice pellets and ten to fifteen centimetres of snow.
