Snail day

And we thought the big rains were behind us. How foolish. We've had solid downpours since Tuesday night and more are forecast until Sunday. And this snail comes taunting me right on my window ! It has hundreds of mates throughout the garden, they're everywhere.

Ha! What a great photo! I love it.

Just FYI, here in Israel it is still raining even in May, which is supposed to be the dry season.

Nice photo, the snake represents the awful weather very well. We have the same weather (and cold....)

LOL - as a thumbnail on the SkyWatch page, this snail looked like a walnut flying across the sky! So of course I had to come see why someone was getting to photograph flying walnuts. :-) I think I'll name this pretty snail, "Wally." LOL

Wonderful photo - your profile says you wish you could paint, but you definitely "paint" with your camera! I enjoyed your photos in several of your other posts, too!

P.S. Please send some of your excess rain to us, and we'll send some of our dry sunny weather to you. (Wouldn't it be nice if we could do that?) :-) Have a great weekend, and happy SkyWatching! (Just watch out for those flying walnuts!) :-)

Oh my. I think you were looking at a Surrealist catalog before you shot this. Even Magritte never thought of a slimy snail tracking across the sky.
