Winter in the vineyards

Bare vineyards near Beaumes-de-Venise, with a traditional 'cabanon' (tool shed) and the rugged peaks of the Dentelles de Montmirail in the distance. All this taken on a great bike ride last Sunday.

Vignes nues près de Beaumes-de-Venise (vers la route de St Véran) avec cabanon et Dentelles. Le tout saisi lors d'une chouette balade à vélo dimanche dernier.

Nice scene. I'm always excited when I see mountains... even small ones. There's none in my area.

I love the striations of color from blue to green to golden brown in this beautiful landscape. The light and colors remind me so much of Northern California wine country at this time of year, but distinctly different at the same time. Love your work, Nathalie.

I would like to visit both sides, though I have been fortunate enough, in years past, to do so!!! Travel sustains me.

My shots this week, were of the wolf moon.
