La Brocante

Place Pie
There's a small flea market on Place des Halles every Tuesday and Thursday. I particularly enjoyed this little display. If you were there, are there any items here that you'd be tempted to buy?

I like this flea market. They have some nice things to sell.

I am drawn to flea markets like fleas to a dog!

I'd buy it all and sort it out later.

Great post and great shot!

I think I'd go for the red and white Yamaha in the background.

I'd like them all. Much nicer wares than we have here. Did you purchase any treasures Nathalie????

I really like the chandelier. I am looking for one that is sturdy enough to hang from a tree in my backyard. We like to eat out there when it's warm. :)

Although there are many interesting objects here to think about buying, I think first of all I'd start by purchasing a tall iced glass of Perrier with a lemon slice in it (or other libation of her choice) for our faithful photographer, because I suspect after walking through the entire flea market looking for the perfect photo for us, she may be thirsty now... :D
Have a great day Nat !

Michel Benoit said...

The duck poking his head out of the basket is interesting, but the rest is not really to my taste.

I'd want it all.

Owen you're so sweet!
The market is really tiny and I wouldn't be exhausted after going through it all but I'll accept the drink with you any time.

Well...the bookshelves probably as I never have enough. Or perhaps the chair. Looks a good terrace chair.

Tomorrow, in Menton, we have our annual brocante which is enormous and 10,000 people expected. I'm trying to get the energie to cope with the crowds...always good photo opportunities so I should.

This flea market looks a little easier to negotiate.

Well.... no, not really; it all looks a bit new! Any other stand? :-)

Maybe the chair! Stick a colorful pillow on it, and it'll go with almost any room. I love flea markets in France, just love them. You can find real gems for very little money.
