Theme day: numbers.
Street number plaques are usually white on blue enamel squares in France (same type as the street name ones) but I've tried to look for creative alternatives around town. See how ornate numbers 17, 22 and 25 are! To view other city daily photo bloggers's take on the theme, click on one of the links below (181 participants this month!) or visit the City Daily Photo portal.
Remark: I already posted a photo earlier today (Women at work below, I hope you have a look at it) because I'd forgotten today was a theme day. So here's my repentance, two posts today for the price of one!

So many numbers and I looked through them all and found a favorite one. Number 13 and its reflection.
a neat collage - I'm still staring at the picture below of the woman on the wall - didn't realise it was a restaurant - thought at first it was a beauty parlour - I think that face would unnerve me after a while.
Very creative! Love it!
interesting you have so many different signs in Avignon - and all beautiful. Monaco seems to have a similar mix but Menton is mostly consistent and then the various hill villages have their own sort of signs. The Old Town in Menton tho is quite separate in it's signs. I've always loved French numbers - in fact I'm about to buy some to take to friends in America, cos they want them outside there house!
This is such a beautiful collage, Nathalie.
This is a gorgeous collage ... I'm always impressed with French street signs and numbers!
Stunning! Oh to be so embarrassed by choice.
So, there is more variation than one may suppose. Looks great!
I love the collages of house numbers for this theme day. Yours is excellent.
"Ç'eut ete dommage" de le rater ce ThemeDay avec une telle preparation!!
l'idee est geniale.
Felicitations.
amazing work. Happy theme day!
Great collection of numbers from 1-30. I like 12 and 13 because they are raised, made of iron and throw shadows; though I do like the "lettering style" of a lot of the others. Number 4 looks like a child's block and is a close second as my favorite.
I meant to ask, why "Oops" in your title for theme day?
là il y en a pour tous les goûts!!!
A number a day keeps Nathalie busy like an apple a day keeps the doctor away? Very clever of you and a lot of work to put that together. Great interpretation of today's theme. Kudos!
You have taken this very seriously, Nathalie. 30/30 for a full effort.
wow! you must have spent so much time 'collecting' those photos.
Nice nice!
Happy Theme Day!
Clueless, as I explained the "oooops" is because I had already posted something else today, see photo below. So you get two posts today for the price of one.
Whewwww... what a lot of numbers! You sure did a great job! (Thanks for visiting Guelph!)
Pat
Guelph Daily Photo, My Photos.
So many numbers, so little time. A fantastic collection you have put a lot of time into.
Ça c'est rigolo, ça !
Oh Nathalie, you outdid yourself with this collage! It is so clever! Seeing these I wonder why we don't have such cute and good looking numbers for our houses in the US.
My favorite numbers photo of the day! What a lot of effort it must have taken you! Thank you for your hard work! This is an amazing collage! I love the simplicity of number 5.
A wonderful and very creative way to post for theme day.
Wow---so much work you put it into this theme and so well done! Bravo!
~ Bravo!
Excellent choice for "Numbers Day"!
Louis la Vache thanks you for visiting "San Francisco Bay Daily Photo"!
Fantastic! There's a fair bit of effort gone into this one. I like number 7.
They are very pretty street numbers!
Nathalie, this post is so over the top gorgeous and clever and perfectly perfect. Your eye and camera have created a lovely little work of art. I'm with Chuckeroon and Kelly. . .highest marks for this grand and lovely effort. Bravo!

Ah, very evocative of France
wow so beautiful street no.
Super !
Great choice for the numbers theme. The restaurant pic is fabulous. Think I would like to eat there. I assume it is modern french cuisine.
Dennis studied them and likes 22 and 13 the best.
Nathalie,
What can I say that they all haven't said?? I was out of town for three days (but posted, thanks to blogger draft...) so am only now putting in my two cents' worth for your beautiful collage!
Neat theme and love the collage of unique numbers!
Quelle collection !
