Avignon, en amont
Last Saturday on a walk along the Rhone I met Mr. Goat. For a tasty bunch of flowers he was quite ready to stretch his neck over a rusty fence. Of course I didn't let him wait, he got it all and ate the lot to the very last flower. This post is my participation to the November City Daily Photo theme day : fences. Ce billet est ma participation au thème du mois du réseau City Daily Photo pour novembre : "fences" (clôtures). what a great portrait - he looks like he has a big personality.....
What an incredibly handsome goat! I do hope the rusty top to the fence did not goad his neck too much. Although goats have cast-iron stomachs, I wonder does that extend to their tender necks.
Julie I don't think he hurt himself, he gave me the impression he knew exactly what he was doing, without much effort.
He's a handsome fellow!
wonderful !
with my family name translated into 'goat' it was nice to see 'a familymember'. please have a good new month ahead.

Great fun, Great choice Nathalie!
Mr Goat is a character indeed!
Clever goat to have his meal held out to him. The barbed wire didn't seem to faze him one bit. Handsome devil, too!
Quite a personality!
Le bouc et le bouquet... Une fable!
What a fine goat. Lovely photo of him. I love goats. Used to keep them and milk them when I lived in Wales and later, in Tasmania, they were kept for their coat which was spun (not by me!)
Goats are always hungry, aren't they? It doesn't take much to make a new friend -- just something to munch on!
Gorgeous picture, Natalie!
Ooo I am not sure I would like him as a neighbour,
haha, goats and fences don't go well together. Lovely portrait.
Oh, Mr. Goat is very handsome! Fun take on today's theme.
Gosh he's magnificent Nathalie, his horns (antlers?) are so big. He's loving that snack, a tasty reward for such a good portrait!!
What a magnificent set of horns. Beautiful.
A goat with personality - great capture. Oh, and a fence as well! Excellent theme day shot.

Now that's a goat! Enjoy November Nathalie.
