Desperates only

La Croix Valmer, plage du Débarquement

The Med isn't renown for its big surf. Check out the minuscule waves here - the Aussie surf report wouldn't even rate them as 'for desperates only'. If you've ever surfed a wave that tiny, please let me know!
.

I just take pictures of waves. No surfing for me.

Now that I've picked myself up from laughing....what waves? LOL. Mind you, no great surf here at the moment. However I shouldn't laugh because I don't surf. I like his spirit at trying to ride a ripple.

Al, in actual fact the guy was playing with a beach board, one of those you throw on the wet sand and run after before jumping on it. He managed a superb move which makes you think he's surfing but in fact he's not.
