Magic waters

Contre-canal du RhôneJust two kilometres upstream from the city, the river banks offer an incredibly green and peaceful setting. No doubt that spirits inhabit those magical waters. Make a wish, it might come true!

Ok, I'm making a wish, but I can't say what for... Hard to believe this is so close to a big city, although, not really, in Philadelphia there is still some pretty wild land along the Schuykil River that runs right through the city, and that is a far bigger city than Avignon...

Beautiful reflections... ok, now we'll see if that wish comes true... to see just how magical they are... :-D (humming : Ain't Superstitious)

So soft and textured. And the blue and green together will be a great backdrop for wedding photos!

Bonjour! Nathalie,
Once again, What very beautiful photographs. Merci! for sharing, all the information about the cicadas.
Oh! the (male and female) cicadas, is/are very interesting indeed!...because I have never seen a cicadas "upclose"
before!...Wow! look at those eyes!...
...they do look like green turquoise stones.
Nathalie said,"I am usually hopeless at finding cicadas, they are amazingly good at camouflaging on tree bark..."
Nathalie, that is amazing!...
...Great shot!

DeeDee ;-D

By the way, I must admit that I posted this comment yesterday, but
I lost it!...Therefore, I decided to try again today...if at first you don't succeed, try, try...
