Theme day: contrast

CoustelletEach first day of the month is theme day for City Daily Photo bloggers and this month's theme is contrast. My approach to the theme? the vibrantly contrasting colours of red green and yellow peppers at the Coustellet market last Sunday morning. To see more contrast throughout the world click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

Cherry tomatoes also come in a remarkable variety of shapes and colours. I am amazed to see how diversity has affected the world of tomatoes in the past few years. Before, the choice was between round and roma tomatoes, full stop. Now, see the feast for the eyes!

Love the vibrant colours and of course what it evokes, Provence. Those small tomatoes are very tasty but I've never tried them in other colours!

Oh Nathalie how much we have missed in the new and exciting world of Latin America. Your photo of bell peppers really pop from the other images of the theme day.

p.s. your favorite book, "Le Petit Prince" de Saint Exupéry, was written in La Antigua Guatemala during the convalescence period of Exupéry in Guatemala.

oooh, I loved that market in Coustellet this summer. We took some lovely photos too.
You make me with I was still there. I bought a wonderful white blouse for 8 Euros and still regret passing up the hat that fit me perfectly for 30.
sigh.

! ! Un délice...

Bon appétit Nathalie...!
Bonne soirée...;-)
