Autumn garden

Near Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Among the vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, an unpretentious country garden with an old wooden gate set in ivy, a small bench placed under a persimmon tree and a few randomly positioned garden chairs each answering a specific need. I love the bright orange note that persimmons bring to gardens in this season.

What a gorgeous setting. I love how the tree has decorated itself.

Confidences.

This is one of the loveliest of trees to photograph in autumn and you have captured the light so beautifully.

Oh my goodness, stepped away for a few days, and see that there have been some very important developments of late. Wishing you all the best with the move, hope it is smooth... And if you pulled up stakes in Avignon to move on, I can only imagine it is to go to some truly wonderful corner of the countryside where life will be even more beautiful than before... can't wait to see more from where you are now.

This persimmon tree is lovely, looks like a haven of peace and quiet...

That is a charming photo. I wish I could pluck a few of those persimmons, a treat I have not had in a long time. Beautiful light!

I absolutely love the colors in these photos, especially the first one! So inviting and lovely.

I've never seen a persimmon tree in person, and I really love the look of this one!
