I love them both...hard to choose! I can tell that both are having a good time.

Both lovely. Really like the feyness of the fairy-girl (err, tautology?) but the fellow is having a wow of a time. I think I prefer it, becasue of the citrusey colours.

I rarely have a chance to do portraits so I really enjoyed the occasion here.

The young girl of course.
Because her look in one's eye...

No contest. The first is fun, but the second is full of photo mileage for me. I like the light, the fairytale bokeh, and the asymetric composition. The expression has a nice ambiguity about it that engages your curiosity, and the inclusion of the second figure adds something else. You can't beat B+W for skintones

Just excellent photography.

Abraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio now playing the part of Mrs. Zac Efron's employee.

No contest ...the B&W, and the B&W makes it an even stronger candidate.

Pictures of children win hands down. Reminds me of 'meine Kinder' when at a similar age.
Anyway, the bloke with the happy smile comes a close second.
They all smile like that down here, - comme vous vous rappelleriez bien.
Great photographs, Nathalie. It's nice to see that Spring is in the air; I hope the mistral has vamoosed !

I personally like the b&w fairy photo best, but I also wanted to show the really loud orange guy because he really represents the spirit of the drum band leading the Carnaval.

Wonderful portraits. Love the missing tooth and the hat and smile!

it's like choosing between apples and oranges. An impossible contest because the subjects are so different. But what appeals to me - emtionally - is the child. Beautiful portrait, Nathalie. But both are excellent.
