Recipe for this photo: take an early morning walk in the city. Spot pigeons picking bread crumbs in the street. Notice their shadows on the rampart as they fly up to the top of the wall when you approach. Grab your camera. Position yourself opposite the wall. Wait till the pigeons return, attracted by the food. Click. Miss. Shoo the pigeons away. Click again. Miss. Keep clicking as you get them to fly away and come back. Stop when they are totally fed up with it. Walk home hoping you have something of interest in the box. Download photos on your computer. Sort. Discard most. Keep one. Reframe. Enjoy.avignon photos

FANTASTIC! A shadow is very interesting subject. Its give more imagination than straight shot.
What an enjoyable weeksworth....the "mouse girl", the flying man, the cross cultural caligraphy (a fine commnet on "understanding each other"). Of course the Finale in the pigeon shoot ought to be "getting arrested for loitering with intent". (BTW....they are the same planetrees.....I'm thinking they may be worth a monthly "study").

Les pigeons sont plus ou moins appréciés – ça se confirme dans les commentaires ici.. Je les aime bien ; j’ai fait comme toi, les prendre en photo exprès (en amoureux) dans « mon » parc. Génial ton texte ! Tu as bien mérité un bon résultat !
