Graphic lines

Café bar Lalogène, Place Pie, AvignonAt 3:00 pm,  rows of outdoor tables and chairs at Lalogene café on Pie square.
It really takes a very cold winter day to have no one seated here on a sunny afternoon.

I love the last pic with the chairs and the trees...(are they plane trees)? That winter sky is beautiful, but I bet it is still cold.

Good rhythm, good pattern. I particularly like the first and third. Similar, of course. They would work well in B&W.

Al, yes they are plane trees and yes it is still dreadfully cold. Not much demand for outdoor seating at the moment I can tell you!

Bonne semaine, Nathalie !

I really like the first photo with the empty chairs pointing the way to the bench where the woman sits.

In fact I walked past Place Pie this morning and the tables & chairs were all packed up - not outdoor seating today, it's just too cold !

Great perspectives. The shadows add so much to the photos.

Nicely done, Nathalie. You made an absorbing graphic series out of a very ordinary situation. (The sharp shadows at this time of day helped, didn't they?)

Aaaah, so sunny for mid afternoon in February. How I wish I could soak up those rays.
