Red sunset

Beautiful red sunset last night... but the weather is stormy this morning.

Is there not a relationship between red sky at night and bad weather the next day.

Or maybe it is red sky at night, sailor's delight; red sky in the morning, sailors take warning.

Something like that.

Yes Abe, I was thinking of such a saying.

Where I was from it was

Red sky at night, shepherd's delight
Red sky in morning, shepherd's warning.

Most people say sailors. This is just stunning though, the reds and lilacs. you can't beat a natural sunset.

The dark silhouette of the buildings against the sky of such beauty makes a lovely photo!

I was thinking the same as Kate. The silhouette is so startling and lovely. We have nice sunsets here, but some how your castle tops make yours look a lot more interesting!

Amazing oranges and reds! Void of many signs of modernity. It is a sailor's delight even though it seems to go against the weather warning.

Yeah, what Abe said about the red sky thing.

Seeing the turret sillhouettes is cool, placing us in a medieval setting, except for that one skinny pole and TV antenna. :)
